Journey
Aleyna started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in December 2025 at Atos Jiu-Jitsu Zürich. Five days into training she entered her first tournament, the Abu Dhabi AJP Tour in Morges on 13 December 2025, and came home with silver in Gi as a white belt.
In March 2026 she competed at NAGA Paris and took bronze in Gi and silver in No-Gi. After a few months at Atos she moved to Alcateia Jiu Jitsu, a Carlson Gracie affiliate and the club where her older sister also competes. In September 2026 she won gold in Gi and bronze in No-Gi at the Züri Kids Cup, and in October she took bronze at the European Kids No-Gi IBJJF Championship in Lisbon, her first European championship.
She trains today as a grey-white belt. Counting training days, she has around five and a half months of jiu-jitsu behind her: six entries, six podiums. Alongside club training she works with her father, who handles her physical and mental preparation and corners her at every tournament.
